Description:

It is a local species from the Peruvian Andes. It has a high nutritional content of proteins and carbs, besides great amounts of vitamins and minerals. It is used mainly for it’s itchy flavor (very hot) when cooking typical meals as the Rocoto Relleno (Rocoto Hot Pepper stuffed with meat and other ingredients).
